The Master-Mind
Sonnet
A master-Mind above mind lurks in a froth of light
Like a Sun of which our suns are mere illumined droplets.
I have glimpsed its marble Face beyond the heavens
Like a gleaming contour of an illimitable delight.
Something in me hushed into a pregnant silence
And felt a sweet ambush of a flowing ecstasy
Into the wide chamber-halls of receptivity.
I was reborn in the image of its effulgence.
My mind is now a Muse of a greater Godhead,
My thought a leaping curve of its graph endless.
My reason was annulled in its persona luminous:
I was twice-born in the reason of God.
This universe is my body, mind and soul;
I too am a spirit exceeding these collective all.
